Bihar Election: Notice on Khesari Lal Yadav’s House

In the midst of the Bihar Assembly Elections, Bhojpuri superstar and RJD candidate Khesari Lal Yadav has found himself embroiled in a new controversy. The Mira Road Municipal Corporation has issued a notice to him regarding unauthorized construction at his residence. Municipal officials claim that the action is part of routine procedure. However, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has strongly objected, accusing the BJP of exerting political pressure.

RJD leaders argue that as the Bihar elections approach, opposition candidates are being targeted using government agencies. The BJP, on the other hand, denies these allegations, stating that the action is in accordance with the law and has no political motive.

The Election Commission has taken cognizance of the matter, seeking a report and ordering an investigation. Khesari Lal Yadav has been campaigning in his constituency and has taken to social media, stating, “The truth will soon come to light; the people are watching everything.”
