Pratap Sarnaik Reviews Development Projects in Mira-Bhayandar

Maharashtra State Transport Minister and Dharashiv District Guardian Minister, Pratap Sarnaik, chaired a meeting to review the progress of ongoing development projects in Mira-Bhayandar. The meeting discussed the status of various projects, including the construction of a new municipal office, improvement of roads, and development of the Shiv Srishti and Khadi Kinara areas.
Sarnaik directed officials to ensure speedy and transparent implementation of projects, prioritizing those benefiting the public. He also emphasized the need to address the issue of water mafia in the city, instructing police to register cases against those involved in illegal water supply activities.
The meeting also discussed the installation of a 51-foot statue of Vitthal Ratha (Lord Vitthal) at Navghar Lake on November 20 and another at Jarimari Lake on December 10. Additionally, plans were announced to construct a grand statue of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the city.
Sarnaik assured that the city would become a model for urban development in Maharashtra, with a focus on transparency and accountability. The meeting was attended by Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Commissioner Radhabinod Sharma, officials, and police representatives.
